Problem med 150GB SATA Raptor och Intel 915 Express Chipset
Hej,
Felmeddelandet
Tacksam för all hjälp!

Dear $contacts.first_name,
Thank you for contacting Western Digital Customer Service and Support.
Check the chipset on the SATA card you are using. Serial ATA hard drives do not work correctly when connected to a Broadcom 5770 or 5770R Serial ATA controller. The issue is a Host Bus Adaptor (Serial ATA controller) bug that causes an unrecoverable hang under certain permissible sequences on the SATA bus. Western Digital’s ST-based on-drive controllers operate in the sequences that exposed Broadcom’s bug, which can be described as pre-SOF ALIGN insertion hang. See the trouble-shooting link below.

Thanks for your reply.
My controller is as I mentioned an Intel ICH6 integrated on my motherboard (Fujitsu-Siemens D1826-G)
I am quite sure that there are no Broadcom SATA controllers present on this motherboard.

Dear xxx
Thank you for your reply.
If the suggested trouble-shooting procedure was not related to your system try a different SATA card.
