Great to see an update Jazid!! Great stuff mate

Thanks for the comment Ignostic.

I have chosen to write in English, as Swedish is me second language. I would hate to have people making fun of my spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Some people are too immature to look past the fact that I am still learning, and take the opportunity to make fun and put me down.

Unfortunately this has happened in the past, and it is not a situation I would like to put myself in again.

I hope that all who read this understand my situation, and have patience for me, and others like myself. We all just want to be part of a great community without being picked on because we can't write perfect Swedish.

Thanks.

Well bakteria, I cut away the corner of the 5.25 aluminum cover so that the bracket for the HDD fit under cover. The HDD brackets are not screwed into place either, as it already was a tight fit!

I hope this helps, and once again, great photos and a nice build

Hey Bakteria!

Thanks for the comment The alu plate is mounted just like it was when I first pulled it out of the box. I am using the Deltaco HDD bracket which is used in 5.25 bays. The brackets are not actually screwed into place, but rather just sit there!

Hope this info helps you... Once I start sleeving my cables, and redo the cable routing, I'll take a few more pics of the build and post them up here, so put this build in your bevakningar sections, as I'll be upgrading in the next week.

Have a good one!

That's right, the Silverstone AP181 is the best 18cm fan you can get.

Good luck anyways mate!

Hey SaldoT!

Thanks for leaving a comment, maybe I can answer your questions while in online.

Double sided tape worked wonders. Both SSD's are mounted on 2 plexiglass plates which are 3mm thick each. With the tape thickness included, the plate mount is almost 1cm from the motherboard plate. Then the SSD's are mounted on top... This gave me enough space to route SATA and power cables behind, which are tucked down in between. There is even a molex cable behind which gives power to the H80!

In regards to the GPU, I would say that the sound card is the problem when it comes to your high temperatures... I say this, as my card never goes over 60c when on full load. My fans are on a custom profile, so when on full load, they are on 80-90%. This is not a problem for me as I have a high overclock on my GPU, and I play with headphones on. I would not run SLI without them being watercooled though as I would probably have the same problem as you do today. I would recommend removing the sound card, and play some game to see if your sound card was the problem for higher temperatures.

I can agree that this case is noisy when everything is on high... I do recommend that you hook up your front fan to the motherboard header and download software which lets your program in how high and low you would like your fans to spin. Mine currently use the AI Suite from ASUS, and spin at 600rpm, this is a nice noise to performance setting

Have a good one!

Thanks guys!

Means a lot!

I have received some sleeving, and will be ordering some more. Next project is on the way!

Hey luciana!

Thank you there was much hard work put into this. I don't have any other photos other than what is posted here, but I can take a few more photos after I have finished installing a couple of doors in my apartment. Tomorrow probably.

I'm not so partial to the Noctua colours either, and am contemplating if I should get some corsair sp120 fans and replace them. I bought them as they are the quietest fans on the market, and best performing too. I could sleeve the cables and adjust the colour scheme to match the fans... It hasn't been done too often, and might look nice!

Thanks again for the comment, and if you live in Stockholm, I would be happy to do it for you

Tack Uber

Av MetallicAcid

Hey! tack

Jag har ett plan att använder aluminium plåt och täcker över lite andra platser i chassin.

I'll keep the build log updated

Av MetallicAcid

Thanks to everyone who has commented!!

Jep, SSDerna är monterat med dubbelhäftande tejp som jag köpte i från Bauhaus.

The funny thing about using the word dragging was that I couldn't think of another word for it! HAHA! I think that I might adjust the text as I like the word routing much better!

If anyone would like for me to build a computer for them, PLEASE let me know!! It is my absolute favorite thing to do other than being with my family!

TJ08B-E - My First Mod

Hello, and welcome to my gallery! I would just like to thank everyone for voting this build highly!! It gives me even more motivation to continue with the upgrades!!

I would like to show the building process of my current PC build, and describe my future plans for my PC.

In this build, I had moved from a Corsair 650D (which was a wonderful case) to a Silverstone TJ08B-E, and I have no regrets what-so-ever.

During the upgrade, I had sold off my Asus Sabertooth P67 motherboard, my GTX580 Matrix GPU, my Corsair 650D case, and purchased an Asus Maximus V Gene Z77 motherboard, Silverstone TJ08B-E, Asus GTX670 DirectCUII, and additional 8GB ram totaling 16GB.

The build was a fairly easy until it came to cable management, which I spent 2 days perfecting until I was happy.

In the future, I wish to water-cool my PC, and this includes using steel plate, steel mesh, and an unconventional reservoir position. I have already started purchasing parts, and with precaution and planning, will make this PC build stand out!

PC SPECIFICATIONS:
Case: Silverstone Temjin TJ08B-E
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus V GENE Z77
GPU: ASUS GTX670 DirectCUII
PSU: Corsair AX850
CPU Cooler: Corsair H80 with Noctua NF-F12 x2
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 4x4GB 12800/1600MHz CL9
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint 32MB cache 7500RPM 1TB
SSD: OCZ Vertex 3 60GB x2 RAID 0
Optical drive: Sony Optiarc AD-7280S

So without further adieu, here are the results! Please leave a comment with your thoughts and any recommendations.

P.S If there is anyone in Sweden that would like for me to build their PC system for them, Route PC cables, or do some light modding, just send me a PM and we can take it from there! I Love building PC's, and if i can build more than just my own, then I am all for it!!

I would like to comment on some great service by CDON..

I have purchased from them one Corsair H80 CPU cooler, that had the "pump rattle noise".

After speaking with them, they have agreed to send me a replacement to my house on an open invoice, and once they receive my defective unit, the invoice will be closed.

CDON's replies over their arenden service was fast, and informative.

Keep it up!
