felmeddelande från add/remove programs:
"the windows installer service could not be accessed. this can occur if you are running windows in safe mode, or if the windows installer is not correctly installed."
är inloggad som admin.
försökte starta servicen manuellt:
"could not start the windows installer service on local computer. error 1055 the service database is locked"
har redan läst den tråden. har inget med mitt problem att göra ("You cannot start Remote Access Phone Book with the Network Control Panel RAS configuration screen open if you have the RAS Server service running")
