MetallicAcid's Redefine

Hello again my friends!!

I would like to present to you all a new custom PC I have finished called "Redefined".

This project is based inside the Corsair Carbide Air 240, which is mATX format with a unique 2 compartment layout. I was inspired by an image of the Maclaren Spider luxury supercar which had a tan leather interior, and white paint with black details. I did some searching in local stores and found some yellow/sand coloured faux leather, and decided to go ahead with the theme!

The hardware which is used in this project are as follows:
Corsair Carbide Air 240
Intel Core i5 4690K
ASUS Z97 Gryphon Armor Edition
ASUS Strix GTX970
Corsair LX 256 SSD
Corsair Hydro H100i
Corsair RM 850w
Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition PWM
Corsair Dominator Platinum 1866mhz 4x4GB

I really like it. Except that leather part on the top that goes all the way to the front. looks a little like a "after thought".
But still 5/5

I understand your concern. This leather is actually a synthetic vinyl which has a higher heat tolerance than regular leather. It will not dry out either as there is no moisture in it like regular leather. This material will not change over time

The leather came to mind when I was checking out some images of the Maclaren Spider coupé, and thought "Hmm, leather inside a white chassis would be nice to experiment with!"

Monolith was up for sale, but I had only bids for the individual parts, or scam bids on the entire system. I didn't go ahead with the sale and kept it. It is still my day to day PC On a plus note, it will be featured in Custom PC magazine for the month of March this year
