Oct 23 (Reuters) - Wolfspeed (WOLF.N) has shelved plans to build a semiconductor factory in Ensdorf, Germany, due to slower electric vehicle adoption, the U.S. chipmaker said on Wednesday.

The chipmaker said in June it had delayed plans to build the $3 billion plant, which would make, in Germany, computer chips used in electric cars, highlighting the European Union's struggle to increase semiconductor production and reduce its reliance on Asian chips.

STRATCOM is “exploring all possible technologies, techniques, and methods to assist with the modernization of our NC3 capabilities,” said Air Force Gen. Anthony J. Cotton, who has led the command since December 2022.

Gym larmade polis – man utklädd till Lara Croft

Via ett överfallslarm tillkallades polisen till ett gym i centrala Stockholm på torsdagen.

Anledningen var en man som klätt ut sig med vapenhölster och pistolkopior, ett på varje lår, gått in i träningslokalen.

– Man håller på att förklarar olämpligheten i det hela just nu, säger polisens presstalesperson Ola Österling.

Enligt uppgifter till Aftonbladet var mannen utklädd till datorspelskaraktären Lara Croft.

Misstänkts mannen för något brott?

– Vi är inte färdiga i bedömningen än, men troligtvis blir det inte så, säger Ola Österling.

Ellevio går likt alla elnätbolag tvingas till över till en effekttoppsbaserad prismodell. Samtidigt har man smugit in prishöjningar om ca 5% framkommer när man tittar på prisjämförelser och faktiska fakturor. Samtidigt smyger t ex kommunen in en sjuprocentig höjning av avloppstaxan och i Linköping höjer man fjärrvärmen med nästan 10%, trots att officiell inflation ska dykt till 1.6%.
