Drar en quick and dirt copy paste. Dubbelkolla vilka processer det är som faktiskt nyttjar GPUn, om DWM.exe eller CRSS.exe så är nedanstående sannolikt applicerbart.
Problem:
Watching video from any site in any browser increased GPU usage by DWM.exe (desktop window manager) and CRSS.exe (client server runtime process) to 70%-80%.
Solution:
Open NVIDIA Control Panel
Click "Manage 3D settings"
Click "Program Settings"
Click the dropdown under "1. Select a program to customize"
Select "Desktop Windows Manager (dwm.exe)"
Set the value for "Max Frame Rate" to "60 FPS"
Set the value for "Monitor Technology" to "Fixed Refresh"
Hit apply
Once you have hit apply, hit "Add"
It can take a bit to load the programs, wait for it to load and hit "Browse"
Navigate to "C:\Windows\System32\crss.exe" (select crss.exe and hit open)
Set the value for "Max Frame Rate" to "60 FPS"
Set the value for "Monitor Technology" to "Fixed Refresh"
Hit apply
